When I Started:
Nov, 1997
How I Started:
I joined the wrestling team in 97, that is when weights were first introduced to me. However, the throws of addiction and alcoholism that took place over the next few years kept me at bay from doing anything healthy or productive. Today is much different than my past and I enjoy all the fruits a healthy lifestyle provides.
Why I Love It:
Every time I go to the gym I focus %100 on the weights. Every set I do I do as hard as I can so when I leave the gym, I leave with NOTHING in the tank. And it feels awesome...
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading the profiles, seeing the transformations of some of the amazing people on this site. The magazines and online info is a good way to keep focus as well.
BB Accomplishments:
Working out has helped me out with lots of rough spots in my life. It's not the answer to lifes problems, but it does help me deal with them. I smoked for 10 years, was up to almost two packs a day, and without some excercise and lifting there is no way I would not have been able to quit.

I was in good shape, but had little muscle if any. I just didn't consistently do anything with weights.
definitely getting leaner, my workouts have been very labor intensive but it's paying off.
Ideally I'd like to gain muscle (12-15 lbs.), while keeping fat % down.
Goal (Long):
Very simple...I have chicken legs. I want thicker legs. Not friction holes-in-my-jeans-because-my-legs-are-so -big-legs, but thicker than the tooth picks I'm currently sporting. Thanks have a good day.
I hit the incline super heavy and hard first, since that is where my strength and size is most lacking.

What traps workout has worked best for you?
heavy and slow barbell shrugs.

What calf workout has worked best for you?
I like standing calf raises. I'll sometimes hit the seated calf raise machine to finish it off. Hitting them hard 2 times a week has been the only thing that has worked so far.
For the first time in my life I've been able to consistently lift weights. Aside from a vacation or date night or working overtime on occasion I have not missed the gym in going on 6 months now. Always I have been victime of rotator cuff injuries and my SI joint has apparently stopped...
hey. how are you doing??
hope u are keeping up on your goals! u are looking great!
