When I Started:
How I Started:
I have been skinny all my life, but after having two children and as I got older... I became more interested in nutrition & staying in shape.
~I hate when people tell me to eat more because I eat all the time & I eat alot. I don't tell over-weight people to put the fork down, so please...don't tell me to eat a hamburger!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel confident and strong! Plus, it's the one thing that I do for myself. It also helps me deal with depression in the winter months.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read fitness books & magazines. I also go to websites about bodybuilding & fitness to read info and get tips. Seeing before & after photos motivates me the most!
I'm going to get back to working out as soon as I get the OK from my doctor...
Goal (Long):
I am not interested in competing! I want to be physically fit for myself and by my own standards. I plan on being in the best physical shape possible! I want to add lots of muscle definition, lower my % of body fat and see just how far I can push myself both physically & mentally.
He always inspires me to be the best I can be, through setting an example, always taking the time to say encouraging words or pass on any knowledge he has to help you. He is living proof that no matter what your age or circumstances, you can achieve it!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Elliptical trainer or stepper or in the warmer months I love to go the track! But right now, I have stopped doing cardio since having 2 operations in 2 weeks and since my weight has dropped. No

Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I hate winter and the older I get, the less patience I seem to have for it. Most winters, I get depressed and fall into a rut. After years of dealing with it, I've learned of some ways to cope.
I know working out helps alot but it's the hardest to stay motivated in the winter than any other...
Thank you for the laugh! "i don't tell fat people to put the fork down" I've heard the line about needing to eat more all the time, But my matabolism was so fast as a kid but i ate like a pig!
Thanks so much for the message Michelle. I can't believe it's another year! The progress you've made through surgeries, bad weather, and everything else has been amazing. You looks so radiant and beautiful in that AVI. I wish you a speedy recovery and a wonderful holiday season. My best to you and your family!

Hi Michelle :). I just passing to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wish you all the best in this new year. Keep training hard :) and also you look great in your new progress pic :)
hey beautiful! Yeah I am doing well and training has kind of been put on the back burner for right now...my job has been killing me lately and just not enough time in the day to work, get ready for Christmas and then work out. You know what i mean? How are things on your end? I hope to hear from you soon!
You look great. Your training has obviously been working. You have a body that many women dream about which shows tremendous determination and strength of spirit. I congratulate you on all your efforts. Stay strong, focused and determined. Remember: "Visualize this thing you want. See it, feel it, believe in it. Create a mental blueprint and then make it happen.”
Yep, I ate too much too...but hey, someone's got to eat the leftovers, yes? I also had a chance to take a couple of naps and get caught up on some way behind rest. Big plans for your b-day yet? And most importantly, have you always gotten double presents on Christmas as a result....
