When I Started:
Jul, 2004
How I Started:
I just fell into it. A friend dragged me to the gym one day and I suck with it.
I was a wrestler in High School (go spartans) but i thought weightlifting was only for strength... I didn't realize you could get huge from it too lol
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. Nothing compares to getting stronger or bigger. I enjoy the attention and while it doesn't happen all the time I enjoy being the biggest guy in the room.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read a lot of magazines. I see what the pros do and I feel like if they can push themselves to that level than so can I. Smitty is my workout partner now and we have been going for the past couple of days. He's a great motivator... his strength pushes me and I push him hard on the cardio. It's a good partnership that has the potential to push us both to levels beyond what either of us thought possible.
BB Accomplishments:
I started out at about 165LBS and now I weigh 212. It's been a long hard road and definatly not 100% muscle but it's a major imporvement and makes my life better by making me happy.
I have just returned from my third deployment to the middle east and this is the first time that I've really kicked it into high gear when i got back. I'm ready to meet all the goals i didn't meet there cause of the lousy food and tough schedule. We aren't working much these days so i can spend as much time in the gym as I want.
THis was taken at my all time best. Tryig to get ac to thatan improve even more
not bad for completly surprised by the pic and standing relaxed... starting to get back to that goal... definatly bigger then i've ever been... time to kick it into the next gear... when the winter hits i'll cut cardio in half and push harder and heaiver in the gym
My Ultimate goal is to transform my body. I want to be that guy that people are impressed with. I wouldn't mind being that guy that people look at and say "ewwwww gross, that guy is way too big!". But I know that prolly won't happen.
I have been working hard for the last year while deployed but it was tough... I didn't meet my goal of 225 with 10% bodyfat... I'm heavier than i've ever been so i figure it's time to really kick it into gear... I'm taking the proper supplments and getting enough rest and working out a lot and hard. I'm using a training partner now which is a change for me since i usually train alone.
I have to run everyday... it's part of my job in the army. Right everything hurts. My wrists hurt when i bench... my elbows hurt when I curl or do skull crushers. my hips hurt when i run and my knees scream everytime I walk. my ankles are always swollen and my...
