I like sports that aren't team sports and I prefer to compete against myself only, with visible/tangible results, especially.
How I Stay Motivated:
I can't imagine not feeling and looking fit for as long as I have so far, so I guess I'm afraid to stop.
BB Accomplishments:
After 15 years, not becoming burned out and staying fresh and fairly objective are to me major accomplishments and I hope to stay that way as long as possible.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Behind the next shoulder presses and behind the neck pulldowns. There is a) no need for this and b) it is not a natural position and the rotator cuff is at the highest risk using these. Also, a cable can break and the bar can hit the upper spine doing behind the neck pulldowns. This can result in a broken vertebrae...a serious injury.Behind the next shoulder presses and behind the neck pulldowns. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
R rotator cuff, of course. About 2 months. I recovered by leaving it alone for 2 months...completely. I just did legs. Then I started with a 5 lb dumbbell and did arm raises and gradually increased the weight until it was fine. It took about a month or so. At first, I couldn't do even the smallest curls or anything with my right arm, which basically meant my entire upper body. So I just left it alone. It was completely weak and I knew I would worsen it if I lifted on it. I was smart about it and also lucky it wasn't worse. I never do behind the neck much of anything now, especially shoulder presses. It's an unnatural position and shoulder presses in front, military if you will, work great, among others.R rotator cuff, of course. About 2 months. Thanks for the comment! Although hardly myspace-angles, I did pick the best of the bunch.. I guess that's pretty normal though! Pic does hide a bit of acne on me, so its not that great ;)
Cool thing that you're actually knowledgable about movies. I think it's fascinating that some directors have the capacity to affect us emotionally.
Looking good!
