You're right, there is a LOT of controversy over the effects of exercises such as that. You'll only really stunt your growth if you suffer an injury. Exercises such as squats and deadlifts can actually help promote growth by increasing levels of testosterone/growth hormone circulating throughout your body. They are exercises that you can't leave out of a routine, but you have to make sure that your form is solid.
Thank you. The gains will come, just as long as you stay dedicated and eat your heart out. Make sure you really punish your body during your sessions. The more it hurts in the gym, the better you'll feel afterwards. Keep lifting, and good luck achieving your goals!
Bulat! Look, my friend, DO NOT worry about body fat at your age. If youre into weight lifting or any sports keep doing them and stay active! Keep finding ways to leave the house and move around a bit. If youre really concerned though, check with your school health and physical education teachers or coaches and find out if they have a way to check body composition.
