How I Started:
I have been overweight ever since i could remember. however, i was also very good at sports and suprised people with my speed with things like "look at the fatty go". In my teens i got upto 100kg with 30% BF and decided it was time to change for the better (1st Jan 2000) and i got down to 85kg with 15% BF by June 2000 which i maintained till summer 2002. i did this through diet and cardio (exclusively elliptical and badminton). then i began to slack off and by september 2007 i had gone upto 117.5kg with 27% BF. Looking at my photo you will see why i decided i needed to change. however this time, my diet will be clean, will use cardio and most importantly i have educated myself about the neccessity of resistance training!
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
by watching videos of chris masters and mike tyson and to one day have a physique like them.

this was taken when i first started. i was 117.5kg (258.5lbs) with 27% bodyfat. i know i'm not pretty here but i want to change this for the better.
reduce body fat to 10% and ideal weight would be 93kg (old target was 95kg). i want to eat clean! increase weight and reps on all lifts, increase cardiovascular endurance, gain muscle and lose fat, in that order! i want to be in the best shape possib
Goal (Long):
At the time of writing i am weighing in at 117.5kg with 27% bodyfat. My initial aim is to reduce the bodyfat to 10%. This i think requires losing 22kg more (initial aim was to lose 22kg) - which i will monitor from week to week. whilst doing this, i will begin to start weight-training which i have neglected up till now. with weight-training i would like to get as strong as possible whilst eating cleanly. my previous diet consisted of high fat and high sugar such as fizzy drinks (coca cola is so beautiful) (2 litre/day), chocolates (3/day), biscuits, donnar kebabs, pizzas, burgers. this will all have to go and will be replaced by drinking of plenty of water with the introduction of fruit!
Thanks for the tips. I do normally go in a similar pattern Chest, Shoulders, Back, Triceps, and Biceps.
I'm surely switching back to that now after the disappointment had yesterday. Good luck on your goals.
Yea man its going have not achieved my competion goals has some setbacks but I am continuing to progress to my goals. I am not going to quit until I get on that posing stage at least once.
4 day split! that is 3 days more than me. I'd like to read it if you have it posted somewhere, or found it somewhere. I bet you will find your bodyfat has dropped a lot, as your lifts have gone up. I don't think you need to lose a lot. Be different. Be strong.
hello don't be lonely. And I have a sudden craving for a fizzy drink and a big chocolate bar. Thanks a LOT! *sneer* ... heh just kidding, keep up the good work.
Hey, thanks for the stop by and encouragement. It's really just a matter of deciding that now is the time to change, and doing whatever it takes to make it happen. Keep working at it, especially with the cardio. Cardio is key to weight loss. It's not always fun, but we'll both see results from it in time.
Peace
Thanks man it will be my first. It has always been a dream and if I don't committ to a particular event I will just keep putting it off and making excuses!
Hey man good to hear from you! I have had a great Christmas and I too have let my diet slip some. I am gearing up for a bodybuilding show in June or July, all depending on which one I am in shape for!
Hey man great to hear that you have got a solid routine in place. It has been a little slow for me over the last threee weeks with my back giving me problems. But I am still plugging away. Keep it up and I'll be checking in with you!
