I was a runner in High School, and my dad was a constant inspiration to always be better. After college and marriage and kids I became a fitness instructor. I was inspired by Rena Walker who started training with a Personal Trainer-John Moore here in Japan. I also began training with him, and decided to compete after my husband told me I could look like one of those girls in Oxygen. I then became a personal trainer. I now help others to realize their hidden potential!
Why I Love It:
The endorphins, the results, and the fringe benefits from my sweetheart!!
Life's journey is better when you look and feel great!
How I Stay Motivated:
Besides the obvious --my husband and my childeren, I keep going by knowing I have untapped potential waiting to be discovered. I will only be on this earth one time. I have to make my mark. I heard a quote a while back and I has never left me: "It's never too late to become what you might have been." I look at that as a motivator to "become what I want to become" , and also as a motivator to prevent me from becoming "what I might have been".
BB Accomplishments:
Competing on the Arnold Stage in 2008.
Being a judge for the 2008 Ft Lewis Bodybuilding Competition.
ProCard. I want to gain size in my shoulders and arms and reduce size in my rear end!! I want to be buff year round!
Goal (Long):
Nationals are around the corner, and although I have placed well at an NPC National Qualifier, I am not sure if I am ready for a National event. I qualified and competed at the 2006 Jr USA's. I didn't place sowell. This year,I don't want to just show up, I want to place in the top two to get my procard. There seems to be somany girls competing in Figure now. I need to be shown more often. Since I've been living in Japan it has been very difficult to be able to compete in the states. The expense is too great. I will be moving back to the states this summer. I hope to compete in the IFBB North Americans if the timing is right.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
7%
Upcoming Contest:
IFBB North American Championships
