How I Started:
As a young girl my mother always had protein powders around and was very strong. The seed was planted then, but didn't come into a realization until after a very hard end to a relationship. I used the heartbreak to find a way to "empower" myself and fell in love with lifting.
Why I Love It:
I like showing boys up. ;)
How I Stay Motivated:
It's a struggle, but I don't want to be the person that ever limits myself because of my physical being. Vanity plays a big role....I'm shallow enough to admit. :)
I'm currently working with a 12-week training program from Michael Elias. Cardio is incorporated in various forms 5 days a week with lifting done 5 days a week. One day of complete rest.
