When I Started:
How I Started:
I've always been active and into various sports. Roller Skating and Ice Skating were the big ones growing up. Spent several years training and competing in ice skating.
Why I Love It:
I love the sense of accomplishment after a good workout. I like to push myself to the limits and feel that burn. I appreciate the level of dedication and hard work that it takes to be at your best.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror! and looking at my daughter. I know I want to be healthy so that I'm around to see her grow up and to be a good role model. I want to grow old with my husband and be healthy enough to enjoy retirement someday.
BB Accomplishments:
none at this time, but never say never! I'm still young!
Finally obtain that knock out body that I know is under there! I can see it changing after only 3 weeks with our trainer and I keep envisioning the end result every time I don't want to do cardio or I feel too tired to do another rep!
I am the only one that can make that choice to make it happen! I have a great bunch of peeps around me to keep me going though!
Wow! Just read her tranformation article and her progress is unbelievable! It's so hard some days to be patient and keep on track, but when I see before and after pics like this and read stories of true determination it totally inspires me! Thanks Jelita.. can't wait to work out today!
Yep - I'm a loser of 7 lbs! Yay! Starting to see things happen. I hate hate hate getting on the scale because I KNOW it's not always an accurate measure of what you're accomplishing. However, it's always nice to see that number dip a bit!
You're right you need to be the image of what she sees as a beautiful, healthy, woman. I don't think enough women take that role serious enough. Congrats on finding the motivation.
Congrats on the weight loss I just try and eat better overall since I know I will never be able to eat chicken and fish the rest of my life.
I also read your blog and you may want to consider a breast reduction. Men don't get it because why in the world would we want smaller???
A friend of mine had one and it was the best thing she said she had ever done.
Anway, good luck with everything and be sure and upload pics before you go to Cancun!!

At 37 you're still a kid....
Enjoy, you look great & if you keep working out you'll stay just like that.
My wife of 36 years ( yes she's 54 ) still looks great. You're only as old as you let youself feel.
