I have been fat all my life (see the before pics). I hated myself because of it, but I thought I couldn't do anything about it. Finally, one day, I became so sick of it, that I would start working out and see what happens. Within a few weeks I was addicted.
Why I Love It:
I love the energy I have and that satisfied exhausted feeling after a good workout. The high I get when I power up to a new max, or raise my working weights. I love people's occasional stares of admiration instead of disgust.
How I Stay Motivated:
Now, I get to do so many thing that I could never do before. Everyday, there is something new. I see guys here and elsewhere who have done it and have what I want. They inspire me. I know if they can, I can as long as I work hard, lift hard, live hard.
BB Accomplishments:

This was me in 2004. I was about 360 or so im these pics. 59" waist. So fat, so unhealthy. Sometimes, I can't believe that I ever looked like this.
This is in the exact same clothes as my last 3 progress pics. My weight is basically equal. Hope I've made a little size gain / fat loss.
I have been fat all my life. Morbidly obese in fact. I became so sick of myself that I finally started to do something to transform my body into the muscluar one I secretly always wanted. Since September 2006, I've lost almost 180 lbs, from 375@45% BF to 204@10.9% BF currently.
My current goal is to continue the process that I'm on until I reach 8-10% BF, then gain back lean muscle until I reach about 210 with 8% BF. From there, I will get stronger and stronger, better and better -- however long it takes, I'm in this for life.
I'm really excited. I went to do a little shopping today. Tried on some shorts at the mall, and was shocked to find that I needed 29 waist to fit properly. The only problem was that I needed loose fit to accommodate my quads. That means that, at last, I have cut my waist size in half. ...
Ah yea. Makes sense if you are saving gas. Luckily I live only a few miles from Golds! If you are there anytime and recognize me, say hi. I am too nervous to say hi to someone because I have this phobia that it might be a totally different person and I will look like a jack ass, lol. Peace out brother.
