My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

Routine

New routine: 2 cardio sessions per day, weight lifting in between.

 

Increasing my walking time to 1 hour.

 

Did the JNL Fusion Workout..not bad!!

 

45 Minutes Cardio

 

Working out on my XFactor

 

Early morning walk 5-6x per week.

 

Ever increasing cardio: 20 minutes bike @6-9  resistance /20 minutes treadmill @ 9-11 incline/ 5 minutes cooldown.

 

First six weeks, full body workouts.

Second six weeks, split routine consisting of upper/ lower body.

Meal Plan

New Diet for the last few weeks:

 

(3x) Fish and green vegetables

1 Protein shake

Egg whites (4-6) + 1/4 cup oatmeal or 1/2 sweet potato

Asparagus or radish 1x day

________________________________________________________________

 

 

Meal #1

1 whole egg + 3 eggs whites

3 oz. very lean meat

1/2 cup oatmeal- before cooking

 

Meal #2 (Choose one option)

Option A: Protein Drink, one tablespoon health fat source (olive oil, flax oil, almond butter) 

Option B: 1 can tuna, one small apple (Granny Smith) or orange

 

Meal #3

5 oz. lean meat

1/2 cup cooked brown rice or 4 oz sweet potato

1 cup vegetables or 2 cups green salad with 2 tbs. Vinegar and Oil Dressing

 

Meal #4

Protein Drink

 

Meal #5

6 oz. salmon or very lean meat

1 cup low carb veggies

Salad with 2 tbs Vinegar and Oil Dressing

 

Meal #6

Option A: Protein Drink

Option B: 6 eggs whites with 1 cup veggies

Why I remain motivated.

I have remained motivated throught this competition by remembering what and where I have come from. I have had a very difficult past 23 years but the last 1 1/2 years of my life have been amazing. I am a new person, loving life. Working out has given me the satisfaction of seeing my body improve and attaining a healthier lifestyle. BldgInProgress You are welcome. For me things are looking up. My quads have recovered and I am changing the emphasis of my workouts to be more strength, flexibility and cardio. My diet is good but my portions could be better. For example: I like 8oz of salmon at a time. Keep up the great work and thanks for staying in touch. Oct 6, 2012 7:49pm
