Actually this started back in 2006. Monkey bars in my firends backyard, playing with her kids, my fat arse couldn't even jump up to grab onto the bar let alone hold my own body weight...I think I was 191 my heaviest, almost 200lbs??, that's when I started to diet and exercise,I quit smoking and that same day Oct 1st/07 joined Extreme Fitness and did cardio classes for one year. Then after losing almost 25 pounds...I looked in the mirror in a dressing room while I was standing there in my underwear after trying on several formal dresses for a Christmas party NOV/08 and wanted to cry because still nothing looked good on me. First I was depressed then Angry at myself! Even after losing 25 lbs over the last year I looked like crap! So I got myself some help! Nov/08-Changed gyms and got a no bull personal trainer! I love him..I am so happy I was matched up with him! So far he has thoroughly kicked my butt in the gym! I can't wait to see what Leonardo DaVinci does with this blob that is me.March/09-Went to see my first FAME figure contest and made a decision to get up on that stage!Aug/09 Started training myself for FAME, backfired! gained weight! Sept/09 hired my no bull PT "L" again to help me realise my dream to step on stage in March 2010...stay tuned the story continues...!
Why I Love It:
I am still...uh...learning to love it...things are starting to happen now and I can see, little tiny muscles starting to take shape underneathe the fat...Sept/09 2 weeks with L and people are noticing already! I look smaller!! YAY~!
How I Stay Motivated:
I just have to look in the mirror and keep hoping one day I can say...DANG! you look fine brown biker babe!
When I feel unmotivated, I just have strip off my clothes and stand infront of a mirror completely naked! That alone get's me in the car...flying to the gym!!

Where I came from...I was almost 200lbs here...sitting at 191-195lbs! My boob is the same size as a 3 year olds head!!! I have this pic on my fridge! To remind me not to give up!

Then...Try not to let the stresses in my life get me down and into the bad foods and alcohol.
Main goal~Lose the fat! Eat Clean, work out, rest and recoup!
This lady is the epitome to the saying, if you can dream it you can achieve it! Her transformation is unbelievable and in such a short time!!! And of course all women who ride are the vision of strength grace and sexiness rolling down the road! Way to go Witchazel!!!
It is a common posture with women who have large breasts for all their lives...Ok, Kulzor...have a field day with that one!
So apparently, the chiro at the gym, whom L introduced me to, took one look at me and said..."you have pronated shoulders, its your posture, you need to walk with...
Dang, that bites. :( You've been making progress, so don't sweat a delay too much. We're on a lifelong journey here, not a sprint to get to the end of a race and then done. :) You'll get there, just keep trying ... and don't fall on the eating!
You've been too quiet for a while! *shake fist* Have you been getting up early in the morning and getting the extra cardio in? How are the afternoon workouts? Do I need to send another mental message to L?

LOL girl you are funny ~ No SO for me! My mom has been cool though with helping me out. I think I am almost all better and hopefully going back to work tomorrow. 5 days being cooped up in the house is a long time when you are sick! Keep training hard though! I want to see some pics too ~ i bet you are making awesome progress!! *BIG HUG* :)
By the way, unless you are taking testosterone or steroids, doing them won't give you massive arms, but they ought to help build really nice definition in your arms. :)
Spiderman curls: Use an incline bench at 45 degrees and two dumbbells, probably 5-10 lbs. each right now for you is my guess. Back tight against bench, pull shoulders back. Hold dumbbells loosely so it looks like you are shooting webs from your wrist (like Spiderman). Make sure not to move elbows or shoulders. Each rep count to 3 on way up, hold 2 seconds, 3 count on way down. Best bicep burn I've found...
And as for you.... I hope L is still kicking your booty!! Ain't nobody gonna get you there but you. But know that I am behind you 125%!!!! You just gotta dig deep and know that March is only 4 short months away. You deserve this, this is YOURS. GO GET IT!!

So guess who has not left the house in 4 days because of the flu?? Yeah, let me tell you this SUX!!! BUT...my prep coach is getting my stuff together. NOV 1st is my start date and April 3rd is my 1st show!!
I am!! I am so excited!! April seems like a long ways away, but I know it will be here in no time. I am enjoying October. I have my 1/2 marathon in less than 2 weeks and I kind of get the month off from training so hard and from diet. yay!! but then Nov. is when the real stuff hits the fan!! How are you doing? How is your trainer treating you!?
We will all have our ups and downs, our great workout days and our not so great ones, our drops in bodyfat/weight and our plateaus. Keeping it in perspective really helps get me through all those not-so-great times :-). Although I still beat myself up in my blogs! lol
Awwww... thank you for the very sweet compliment! I looked at your progress pictures and you have made some great changes. You can really see the changes in your back profile pictures! The best advice I give myself is that this is a lifetime commitment, and not a short term thing.

No matter which way you look at it there is some serious progress happening. Things are coming together, enjoy the ride and make the most of it. Just remember you should be ENJOYING this journey. Wake up, embrace the day, then work your ass off
Remember its a marathon not a sprint. Stay focused and think about where you will be 1 week from now... 1 month... 1 year? How hard we push ourselves = the result. Cause and effect at its most basic form... the human body.
