Goal (Long):
4 years ago my wife and I became pregnant with our first child. As a "good" husband I did not let my wife carry all the burden of getting "fat". So I also packed on the pounds as the pregnancy went on. About 1 year ago it happened again with our second child. I started at about 190 lbs and have since ballooned up to almost 240lbs. I can't even look at myself in the mirror anymore. Am I obese, no, but in my mind it's close. I know it is time for a new start. I am also in the U.S. Army reserve and currently deployed to Iraq and I figured this would be the best time to get the job done. I've made the promise and commitment to myself and my family to change for the better, so after this deployment I can return home and return to work as a professional firefighter that others can look up to. My goal is to lose at least 4-6 inches in my waist, find my abs, and pack on all the muscle I can in time for my return home for Christmas 2008.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

Hey big bro, looked over your progress picures, way to go!! Looks like you are well on your way to a buffer healthier you. Say bye bye man boobies, you three are parting your ways. :) So proud of you bro, you make good inspiration for the rest of us back home. Stay safe and we all love you here at the Drum house!
What worked for me and allowed me to achieve my fitness dreams and lose over 50 lb’s, and go from 36 to 10% bodyfat in only 12 weeks was following the Body for Life program. It is not super easy nor is it so hard that you won’t be able to achieve your goals. I find that you get the best results by following a well-designed program and that is what I found with BFL. Challenge yourself and you may be amazed at the results and how fast they happen.

I am so proud of you for taking charge of your health. Being healthier will make such a big difference in every aspect of your life' Way to go! If the hydroxycut really works let me know as I'm looking for a little help myself. Currently looking at a weighted walking vest (20 lbs) which for you would be like wearing your flak vest and then some. Supposed to help put a kick in your walking plateau, we'll see.
