I was hit by a car at the age of 15 and was told I could never workout again, due to Hypermobility in my Spine and Shoulder blades. 10 years later, (July 2006) I attempted lifting in a gym on holiday - I have never looked back. . I now train to stay mobile and to get the most out of what I have. Personal Evolution.
Why I Love It:
Life is for living, everyone should try to get the most out of life / themselves. To many people dont realise what they have and take their body for granted. .
How I Stay Motivated:
You never know when your time is up, its a race, a battle to become the best you can, while you can.
I have been advised by my orthopedic surgeon that I have damaged my knee cartilage, i find out next thursday to what extent. . He did say it might mean giving up training my legs all together . . .
Does anyone of any ways I can continue to build my Quads and Hams without using the knee joint ?
