When I Started:
Jan, 1996
How I Started:
Just wanted to get back in shape after being in the real world for a couple of years. Being a bit undersized, I've always been motivated to prove that I am an athlete, not just an intellect.
Why I Love It:
I get good results and it just seems like the right thing to do for the long-term. I am aging exceptionally well as a direct result of my regimen.
How I Stay Motivated:
I vow to drink a shot or beer everytime a girl leaves me a positive comment! Also, I keep track of my results and step it up when necessary. It also satisfies an intellectual curiousity. I experiment a lot to see how different approaches affect my bodyfat composition.
BB Accomplishments:
I've never dropped 250 lbs on my face (although I've gotten it stuck on my chest a couple times...)
We all know its those last few reps that do most of the work, or those reps you do in the latter part of your workout. But how to get them in? Here's a trick I use: let your MUSCLES do the work, not your mind. More times than not, you'll find yourself "thinking" your reps. But...
I'm cycling hard through the bodyparts on the weights, running only occassionally and keeping the food mostly clean with an emphasis on high-protein foods (chicken, fish).
sorry Brent no shot from this comment!

Good pix Brent. A lot of guys have good builds on this site but don't know how to take a picture.
Also can relate to your bodybuilding since I'm hard at it too. Just started a cycle a couple of weeks ago with Epistane and already have packed on 6 lbs. of muscle. Never did any for the first 40 years of BB but now at 62, the muscle is going on so easy.
