How I Started:
Ran a marathon in 2004 and hurt the muscles in both feet to where long distance running was finished in my future. I talked to a trainer and he suggested figure competing. Once started to lift the weights just could not stop- officially addicted!!! Also, in the gym I noticed a women with an amazingly defined back and decided I wanted one as well!
Why I Love It:
I love the connection that I can achieve with my mind and body during a good workout. My workouts are spent with only me and my music- it's my time for no outside interruptions!
How I Stay Motivated:
Visualizing my overall goals and making myself proud of the changes. Also, when others approach me to tell me I motivate them- thats the best!!
BB Accomplishments:
Competed in my first NPC show in October 2008! I have always been very critical of my body and having the confidence to walk across stage and feeling amazing on my appearance changed was a huge accomplishment. I had no idea that I could get my body to look the way it did on the date of my first show- now time for improvements!!
I am working on gaining some size on my shoulders and upper back. Within the next 4 months I would like to put a good 5 pounds lean tissue on my shoulders and back! Tighten up my glute/hams so they tie in better and work on my quads. Ok- so basically improve my entire body (haha)!!

sorry that it took me so long to reply. A complement from someone in your shape is high praise indead. You father need look no futher than obvious detication but if I can be of any help mores the better.
So i have been measuring with cailpers each week, with a scale weight, pictures and tape measurements. Pounds going down, inches going down. Pinch hasnt moved in a year!! is that possible or am i doing it wrong? Do you know someone i could get accurate testing done by? I really am wanting to know an accurate BF%. The electrstatic scale I bought say I am at 33%, my pinch says 20.9%. I lost four inches this month. Down to 125 lbs this week. So what do you think?

Thank you so much. I am doing well lately hanging in there some days are hard. Put on jeans this am and not happy with what I see, I am getting so close though I can feel it. I want to inspire my children to be healthy and do what ever they want with their lives.
hi..my rotator cuff muscles are seriously damaged.can't move my left shoulder since 2 months.taking medecines and waiting for the recovery...no workout:-((((
