It makes you feel alive and full of energy! It also helps with how you feel about yourself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a pledge I follow by and here it is. BODY...you know that staying fit is the key to health and long life. MIND...you have the willpower and creativity to reach any goal. SPIRIT...you keep your balance no matter what life throws at you. THE PLEDGE... ~I am STRONG in BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. ~A size "0" is not a fitness GOAL. ~I ACCEPT compliments with a big "THANK YOU." ~Vacation is not a LUXURY - it is a necessity. ~I will REWARD myself for reaching my goals. ~I will not feel guilty for missing a WORKOUT. ~It's irresponsible NOT to surf, ski, run, ride, swim, plan and compete regardless of my age. ~I will eat right most of the time but know that it's okay to SPLURGE some of the time. ~Lifting weights is IMPORTANT to increase my bone density and help prevent osteoporosis. ~CONFIDENCE comes more easily when I stand tall and hold my head high. ~Sweat does wash out, so I can wear really cute fitness clothes for my tough WORKOUTS! ~I will not lose my childlike love of DISCOVERY and PLAY. ~I will RENEW my body and spirit so that I have STRENGTH to share with others.

Goal (Long):
I want to trim my stomach of some fat I have accumulated over the past 2 years. I want to look cut and more defined in my arms. I want that nice toned butt and legs. I want to look like a female bodybuilder and encourage others that you can do anything if you put your mind to it!

I think the best advice I can give (to be used during this time of year) is to not let others sabotage your goals...trust me, I hear it all the time..."It's the holidays-let loose"...why-so I have to start all over again in Jan?? LOL!
