Treading water

Well coming up on another birthday and I feel as though I'm treading water. The last six months have been interesting. I lost my job at the Y as they were unwilling to make the changes the allegedly brought me on board to facilitate and used budget issues as an excuse to get rid of the new guy. It was probably a blessing in disguise in terms of my career as I picked up some consulting projects and had time to focus on the final 5-months of my MBA. Unfortunately, it wreaked havoc with my workouts because who wants to go to a gym where you have no respect for the people who run the place. I'm fo...

New breakfast toy!

OK - I'm not eating clean this weekend - at least for breakfast. We got this egg & muffin toaster for Christmas that also poaches eggs, [URL="http://www.amazon.com/Back-Basics-TEM500-Muffin-2-Slice/dp/B000B18P96"]http://www.amazon.com/Back-Basics-TEM500-Muffin-2-Slice/dp/B000B18P96[/URL]breakfast sandwiches a la Egg McMuffin's. Yesterday I found Hollandaise Sauce at Trader Joe's, so tomorrow it's time for Eggs Benedict. Oh well, I'm bulking anyway, so I can't imagine that Eggs Benedict will hurt me.

Well since the New Year my fitness is starting to get on track. I've been in the gym a minimum of 3-days per week and I'm eating enough to support my workouts. The weight is already back up to 174 lbs and the size is coming back quickly - there's a lot to be said for muscle memory. Right now, I feel better and I look better than I have in six months and this is only after 2-weeks of training. I can't wait to see how it goes for the next few months. I'll try and post some new pictures in the near future. Brad
