My dad has been into it for 20 years, grew up with him working out in the home gym. I grew up in a small town in Canada, so all there was to do in the winter was either work out or do drugs or play videogames.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy outdoor activities such as bike riding and jogging. I don't really enjoy weight lifting.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at myself in the mirror and it is enough of a reminder that I have a lot of work to do.
hey! yah, i'm still around and kickin'.. it's been a busy past month, working full-time. i'm running a 5k this weekend, so it should be fun! how have you been?
LOL Bradd! Yes, any additional weight gain/loss seems to immediately gravitate towards my face... and chest area, for that matter!!! LOL!!! :P Too bad we can't choose where our bodies want to store the fat!
Re-feed? CHECK! :P Holy, did I *ever* take your advice to heart, Bradd! Hehehehe! :D But being fit is a marathon, not a sprint, so I tried to really enjoy myself in spirit of that analogy! :)
I axed the trainer! I hated him. :P I couldn't wait until all my sessions with him were up! I have been at it by myself for almost a month, and it's been so much more enjoyable without him! Since last week, I have cut out the cardio and I'm only lifting. Which works out well for me because I just ABHOR cardio!! YUCK!
