Yes, I used to take in some huge amounts of protein. I would play around with the carb and fat ratios. If you tend to stay on the hardgainer side, you can afford to take in a few more carbs than the average joe. I would let the fats take care of themselves as long as you are eating clean.

No, not really. Just play around with the numbers a bit (for a few weeks at a time to see results) and go from there. I think you are going in a good direction.

No real big problems like that. I take in about 1-1.25 grams per pound. Sometimes all you need is a little bump in protein. Are your workouts on point?

Don't put competing off for too long. Just get up there and do it! Once you compete, you will be amazed at how motivated it makes you for your next show. Use a show as a motivational tool. Great luck!

Just put in "Brad Borland" in the search box of Bodybuilding.com and then pull up my writer's profile. I have many articles on training. Also, check out my BodyBlog and BodyGroup.

Well, I usually go straight to the federations' websites for the NGA, OCB, etc... I know there are other sites out there specifically for schedules, I just can't think of them right now. Are you thinking of competing?

A lot of the schedules aren't out yet, but any drug-free natural ones. I will probably have to wait until the first of the year to find out.

Training is going well. I have been doing a lot of unilateral stuff for legs - they work!
