I was very thin when I was growing up. I only weighed 135lbs at 6ft tall when I graduated high school. I had been trying to gain weigh, but had no idea what I was doing. When I got to college I started to gain weight, some muscle but some fat. I got up to 230lbs, with too much fat. A few years ago I got more dedicated and educated on what I needed to do. I have since dropped over 20lbs, which I would say was almost all fat. I have added quite a bit of muscle and strength.

Always train what you have. I grabed most of my freestyle combos from working out with different styles and a few ideas from blackbelt mag. Just do not get so tied into something else that you forgit your core training.
The learning process is the most important part. Hell, I would never bother to test except that I wont get showen specific new stuff untill I hit the next rank. I only threw stripes on my belt becaus the guy running my last major dojo told me to..althow the guy I did most of my training with who was under the owner agreed with me.
My last bb test ran about 7+ hours and had about every thing I had ever done pluss some (Basicly alot of) what would be described as pure physical hazing.
Just got back from vacation hitting people with sticks for 6 days.Looking for beter job and getting geared up for big stick turny in october.
Escrema is cool and a little brutal to be on the receving end untill you get used to it! Good luck with the test..get lots of sleep and eat your pasta.
That balanceing act is a real pain in the neck. When ever I try to go down in weight I end up loosing strength. Good luck on the test! Whare is blue belt rank wise in TKD?
