How I Started:
I had let myself go was having problem with blood pressure and cholestral and the stress's of life! Heart disease runs rampant in my family My Dad died of a heart attack at the age 57!! He was my best friend! my sister had a stroke at 42 yrs old!!!! My brother had a stent put in this year at age 50! My younger siblings are also having issues! Should I say more!!
Why I Love It:
It is a stress reliever!! I feel great!!! and I love the results and at the YMCA you make great friends that have some of the same goals as I do and it's like an extended family!
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't take blood pressure or cholestral medicine! and seeing the changes in my body the longer I keep working out! The Compliments I get for not looking my age!!! And seeing my two kids following the same path of health and fitness as I am! Can't put money value on that it's priceless!!!!! And being able to do things with my teenagers that alot of parents can't do because of health reasons

It really depends on my work schedule when I go. The next four weeks I'm on evening shift, so I usually go around 9 or 10 in the morning. On the days that I'm off, I usually go more towards noon.
I just noticed I work out at the same gym that you do. What ab workouts do you do and how many days a week? That's one of my problem areas I'm trying to fix.
yes, i am competing this year... and i cant wait! The show i am planning on doing is called Junior California and its on June 20th... so ill probably start dieting this march or so
