Pairing does work well at times..but it does suck when you have just had a hard chest day with 1 to 3 rep maxes and then they have the whole class do multiple sets of every type of pushups under the sun! But you are right..what does not kill us makes us stronger!
How is the MA training dove tailing with weight training lately? Kempo oldschool workouts fit in well when you train on your owne but tended to realy hert back when I could make classes on a regular basis. How does what you do tend to work in?

Haha...I get enough weird looks at the gym from how I train...it's always fun to walk backwards on a treadmill, at an incline, and watch the people walk past you...=)
