I was a sprinter in high school on the track team and wanted to put some muscle on so I started working out with the shot putters. Since then it has been a lot of off and on but now its more on. Have a lot more time and discipline and my wife is really into fitness as well which keeps the motivation going.
Why I Love It:
Keeps me energized and in shape. It feels great after a workout to know you worked hard and the soreness the next day is a reminder of your hard work.
The constant challenge of how hard you can push yourself and seeing the results of that hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pics from when I was younger and a lot skinnier. Each time I step on the scale and I gain any kind of weight, I have always had a problem with keeping weight on. Everyday I wake up thinking about what I will be working on that day and start visualizing the workout and what I want to concentrate on.
I've always been involved in some kind of athletics and my metabolism is very fast so I have always had a hard time putting on weight and keeping it. I currently weight 163 but I wouldn't be surprised if I slip under 160 by the end of the day. My goal is to get up to 185, I workout 5 days a week and play soccer once a week. Oh yeah and if my legs can catch up to my upper body that would be great too lol.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 20 lb

"Most men hit their peak at 28 and from their it takes longer to recover", that's what my ortho doc said to me a few months when I had him take a look at my shoulder and it's been stuck in my head ever since. It is true, it seems like my workouts and flag football take their toll on...
HOW ARE THE "NEW" WORKOUTS GOING BRO! HOPE YOU'RE HITTIN' IT STRONG AGAIN! I'VE HAD AN AMAZING MONTH OF ADDED STRENTH & SIZE! HOLLAR BACK! BLESSINGS, Dave.
