Was a sprinter in high school on the track team and wanted to put some muscle on so I started working out with the shot putters. Since then it has been a lot of off and on but now its more on. Have a lot more time and discipline
Why I Love It:
Keeps me energized and in shape. It feels great after a workout to know you worked hard and the soreness the next day is a reminder of your hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pics from when I was younger and a lot skinnier. Each time I step on the scale and I gain any kind of weight, I have always had a problem with keeping weight on. Everyday I wake up thinking about what I will be working on that day and start visualizing the workout and what I want to concentrate on.
BB Accomplishments:

This is the first time I get to see my back, looking to get more definition and size.
I would like to add more mass to my chest and shoulders.
I've always been involved in some kind of athletics and my metabolism is very fast so I have always had a hard time putting on weight and keeping it. I currently weight 163 but I wouldn't be surprised if I slip under 160 by the end of the day. My goal is to get up to 185, I workout 5 days a week and play soccer once a week. Oh yeah and if my legs can catch up to my upper body that would be great too lol.
Ever since I started working out I have been on a mission to get my legs bigger. As a former runner I had really strong legs, but that was over 10 years ago. It seems like no matter what I do they just won't grow. I can't do regular squats because of my back but I still get a good workout from...
Yep I named her Jersey. I live in Tallahassee now and well.. people made fun of me for being born in Jersey "Damn Yankee" (Raised in S. FL) so I named her Jersey in spite of that. =) I love her. HEhEH
That sucks.. Myself i need a permanant spotter with me all the time for the next 12weeks.. Im sure you can find someone at the gym that wouldn't mind spotting you.. :)
I do talk to them. Ask my workout partner Afrika. I talk to my fat and tell it to go away. I tell my biceps and triceps to grow. I tell my elbow not to hurt. I also force them to lift heavy things and try to lift things I know they cant lift.
