I was in the Navy many,many years ago and worked out with my then bf. My friends used to tell me I had arms like a boy...best compliment ever! Aimlessly worked out by myself for the next few years until I started working it with a trainier...realized that I put on muscle very easily; Did an EAS 12 week challenge with great results; the real deal came when I decicded to get on a stage---hired me a trainer and I really got my money's worth I always loooked liked I just finished working out it was awesome! It's been 5 + years sinced I've worked out consistenly; its been 5 years too long
Why I Love It:
When I used to go out guys would want to arm wrestle me...I was like why? So you can tell your momma that you got beat by a girl? :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures, mantras, outfits, current physique, magazines, the movie Pumping Iron, fit chix in the gym
BB Accomplishments:
Pending...but one of my major accomplishments is posting my weight...my doctor doesn't even know how much I weigh :)

Goal (Long):
Once upon a time I spent way more time in the gym than I did eating in front of the television on my couch; in the infamous words of Alice in Chains "It's not like that Anymore".
It's been almost 5 years since I competed in a figure competition and I look like I don't even know how to spell the word gym.
I would like to re-arrange my priorities; trade in my hours in front of the tube for quality time in the gym. I would like to drop 40 lbs./18-20% bf, increase the size in my shoulders, sculpt my lower body; and get back in touch with my 6 pack. My start date is April 6th 2009 and I should reach my goal by September 2009.
Sept 2009 came and went and I did not even come close to my goal...I tried and failed, and I will try again, and again and again, until I reach my goal...2010 is coming up and I feel like I should be on a stage...ooooh I wonder what's gunna happen...
This dudes is like my virtual personal trainer/training partner. Thanks for the motivational phrase that keeps me in the gym making it dew what it dew.
I made it thru the first week and made it to my cheat meal...yea!...yeah right, it tasted like garbage...why does the "bad" food only taste good when I'm not supposed to have it? I couldn't even really figure out what I wanted to eat for this glorious cheat meal, that I waited all...

yeah well maybe in the near future you can try and win one...something to loo forward to is great motivation while training, especially since its a 24 hr deal..what diff did u noticed by drinking a gallon of water a day? Iv been doing that for a long time and idk
not sure if i want to..i just finished a national powerlfiting comp and almost set a new squat record for the 220lbs junior weightclass..took alot out of me with training..now iv just began with a bodybuilding routine, and plan on being alot heavier and ripped up too..im shooting for 250 with 12%bf come next yr..what about you, hows your worouts been?
AMEN SISTER! i stay the hell away from the scale! because as you lose fat and gain muscle your weight goes up instead of down and that is tough!!!! so i dont weigh myself. check my bf and do my measurements.
it sucks to get old and go back to the gym and be so weak! it has been very discouraging but i try not to think about. it has been actually getting better, so i cant complain.
thanks for the comment on my blog. im far from what i was strength wise 16 years ago but im old and so it isnt quite as easy to lift hard as it hurts alot more! :) you are looking pretty damn good!
