When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
For most of my youth I was the "stringbean". Now as an truck driver, i've become the pillsbury doughboy. I've noticed I am becoming tired from doing the most minute of task. My weight is at its highest ever!! Looking in a mirror, I see a person that sickens me. For once in my life I want a body that I can be proud of. I live on the coast and Im ashamed to go to the beach. Must less take my shirt off. Lets not even mention a tank top.
I've made the decision to take control of my diet and my body. I've bid fairwell to the old me and am excited to welcome the new. I know this will be a long and hard journey, however, it will be well worth the effort in the end.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy workingout because I now have much more energy to do everyday tasks. Im sleeping better and I feel alot better. My heartrate has started to lower (109 rhr when I started/ 71 rhr after working out for the first month).
How I Stay Motivated:
I have my before picture on my computer. Seeing it reminds me of what i do not want to be. When im tempted to "cheat" on my diet, I look at the picture. When I get home from work and don't really feel like working out, i look at the picture and it motivates me to get going.
BB Accomplishments:
As of right now, I really dont have any accomplishments. However, I will be starting a weekly photo blog for all to see my results as I go through my transformation.
This was taken when I made the decision to get serious about my body transformation. I was 245lbs and was the heavest I've ever been. I knew it was time to do something.
This is my day 30 pic. I hav lost 25lbs and am feeling so much better physically and also personally. I cant wait to see day 60!!
It has been 30 days since i posted my day 30 pic. I took my 60 day pic and to my disappointment, i havent changed a bit. Im not sure what I'm doing wrong. My workout regiment hasnt changed and neither has my diet. Im still taking Animal Pak Multi-vitamins along with my creatine.
read your blog, I can see a change. plus 10 pounds and 10% loss in bodyfat is outstanding. If your looking to lose more weight try doing cardio after your weight routine.
good job, you will get very far...to answer your question, my number one advice is: determination. Stick with it, no matter what, no excuses. It WILL pay off.
thank you for your comment on my blog-what you have accomplished is truly remarkable and you have inspired many-much more than you know, myself included!!GREAT job!
It was my pleasure to offer you those words of encouragement. I am absolutely ecstatic about your fantastic weight loss as well as the weight loss by your wife. You both are showing what can be accomplished when you are determined to succeed. I will be following your continued progress with anticipation and enthusiasm. Stand tall and show the world what you can do.
looks like your well on your way, I read your profile and were kinda in the same boat. Your doing great though it took me two months to lose 30 lbs. keep up the good work.
You are on your way and although I don’t know what workout program you are following, my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and I received our transformations by following Body for Life. I lost 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat & she went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in just 12 weeks with BFL’s program I believe by committing to do what needs to be done, the results will be well worth the effort.
