ok, I've been away for awhile, I 've just been looking back through my old progress pics and I'm quite dissappointed to see that I think I may have gone backwards to some extent.
So, I'm back and I'm on it starting today, I've decided that I'm definately going to aim for competition standard...
Good job setting the goal to compete. I know competition always drives me to do my best and put in the extra effort. Good grief! 310kg. That is heavy lifting. I am only doing a bit more than the bar 110lbs or so. Overall, things have been mixed here. I'm glad my shoulders and traps are starting to show when relaxed, but this past month my waist has grown:(
Hey man, it's been a while so I thought I'd drop by and let you know I've been deadlifting. Wow, they just wipe me out but after just a few weeks I'm seeing new results. I was kind of on a plateau. How's things going for you?
Good to hear things are going well. Things are good here too. I'm getting good results on my shoulders and my posture is doing better. I've been doing a lot of reclined pulls and chin/pull-ups. I'm now trying to cut and that's a bit more challenging.
hey man! its been a while . how are you? how is lifting? I am so hooked! I have been lifting for 6 months now and have seen major changes. check out my pics and tell me what you think. hope your well
Hey Bobby, I finally read your fitness journal. Good work. I'm faltering on my cardio lately. My goal was to get down to 178 and I'm so close, but I've been swamped with work. Cardio seems to be the first to go.
Hey man, thanks for the comment. It was kind of cool the other day at work--a friend said "You need to get new pants." She was walking behind me and saw some extra fabric under the belt. I guess it had folded over on itself where I couldn't see it. Good luck with your bulk.
Thought I'd share an update. I've reached the end of the 16 week program. I was sick, so the last two weeks wasn't that great. I'm going to repeat a few weeks until I can do a few one armed push-ups with each arm. How are your goals going?
Thanks for the info on Animal Cuts. You definitely are looking leaner--yet still have mass. Your new double bicep shot shows this off. Good work. I'm still dropping but I have to add more cardio. I'll see if I can take some progress shots next week.
Hey man, way to go. 7lbs is good if you're keeping muscle. Things are good here, I'll have to weigh myself in today or tomorrow and see if I've dropped more. A pair of my work slacks I noticed yesterday were really loose. Without the belt, I couldn't wear them. I'm going to have to buy new clothes. Does Animal Cuts make you jittery? I have to be careful with caffeine. I'll check out your progress shots later. Keep up the good work.
Nice progress! And about your name "fudge" do you have any?? lol...jk...I can't be tempted!! Keep up your hard work- It's amazing to see how your body is reacting to what you are working on!
I dropped by and saw your progress shots. It looks like your lats are more pronounced. On the getting leaner side of things, hinkognito sent me a cutting diet link that has really seemed to work well for me. I just hit my lowest weight since my accident, 182lbs. Here's the link www.bodybuilding.com/fun/docs/ 2007/gameover_vol2.pdf but I'll send it via private msg. since links never seem to work when posted as a comment.
Thanks for the stretching advice. I'm not sure I can do the above the head lat stretch, but I should be good with the chest stretch. I still have to be careful with things above my head. The thing is I'll be able to do it, but then I'll feel it a few hours later and hurt for days. A good example is a superman core exercise where you lie on the ground face down and flex you feet and hands off the ground. That just tweeks that spot.
