Reemy I ate whole foods until I got up to 4000 cals and gas went up. Supplemented one whey trol from Jason as my last meal. Try not to do too many shakes. Can't the protein washead what remember off the top of my head what the protein was. Fat around the 110-120 range. Feb 17, 2013 9:28pm

Reemy My body responded to the fats very quickly. I take supplements to aid in my digestion (digestive enzymes, aloe vera juice), so that is not really a problem. Excess protein would seem effect to negatively effect your digestive system more than either carbs or fat. It seems that my digestion is better when I don't mix foods together and watch my food combining. If I have time, I'll eat things in order in a meal. The stomach processes food in layers. j.astorina It varies depending on my goals. Rather than calculate just my protein requirements, I set meal goals that are spread out over six meals. I am preparing for a show so I am taking 35g protein and 10g fat every meal. I currently weigh 155lbs. When bulking I up it to 42g protein and 15g fat, with carbs - which also vary. Jorcrobe Hello again, I blend my meals in a blender. It allows me to eat foods that I detest. Egg whites for instance, I eat 30-40 eggs a day. I wouldn't know the difference, for the taste is masked by other foods. My egg whites are pasteurized, by the way. Oh, and I don't eat much meat. Most of my protein comes from soy and egg white. j.astorina Sure. Shakes are always easier...but a bag of potatoes and a tub of oatmeal will go much further at a fraction of the cost! I've never had a hard time filling calories with carbs. It's the protein that breaks the bank. I can't afford to fill my protein needs with just whole food. Feb 18, 2012 6:10pm

Jorcrobe Hello, post workout I blend two fruits and 45g of protein together. 30 minutes after that, I will eat a strong meal of carbs,veggies, fats, and protein. I typically blend every single meal of the day. Cheers. Feb 18, 2012 1:57pm
