I've always been pretty skinny and small throughout my life, at the age of 21 I started to get really annoyed that I didn't look how I wanted. My girlfriend at the time wouldn't let me work out as she thought I was doing it to try to impress girls, and not for myself. I am now going to start my transformation and my current girlfriend is going to join me at the gym so that helps.
Why I Love It:
The feeling I get after a good session is amazing, I know I've done something worth while.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about the results that I want, and that helps me to keep going with everything, my girlfriend also keeps me going by joining me at the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
Hitting 20kg barbell curl after just 3 weeks is a great accomplishment for me at this stage.
I want to gain 20-30 pounds of muscle because I'm fed up of being skinny, and don't just want to put fat on.
Goal (Long):
My whole life I've been the skinny one, and I'm fed up of it now. I was always told "You'll get bigger as you get older", well that didn't happen so now I've decided to really do something about it. I know where I want to be after 12 weeks of hard intense training, I just need to push myself hard to get there. After 12 weeks are up if I've not hit my goal then I'll keep going until I do, then make another goal. I need to change things I'm not happy with sooner rather than later.
I started my 12-week plan today and it didn't exactly go to...plan. Got up all good and had breakfast, had my pre workout shake and got down to the gym for 9am. I did a 5min warmup on the running machine and went to the squat rack to find that it was in use, ok I thought I'll wait. After 10min...
bravo for join, welcome and keep good work. and here is i find good place to get ideas, help for gaining muscle. or motivate also.
