I have always lifted weights since about the age of 14. Unfortunately, due to being ill with the Persian Gulf Syndrome and working to support my family there was not much time or desire for personal fitness. Now, more than ever, I want to become fit again and improve my lifestyle. Fitness is a lifelong adventure; therefore, I am continuing the journey which began many years ago. Wish me luck!
Currently, my goal is to transform my body by losing 40 pounds to increase overall fitness and physical appearance. I plan to lose 2 – 4 pounds a week until my goal is reached. Afterwards, I plan on becoming a personal trainer so I can help others reach their fitness goals. Wish me luck!
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it helps me to feel more energized and reduce my stress level. I also love the way bodybuilding makes me look. Lastly, I love the long-term health benefits of the bodybuilding lifestyle.
How I Stay Motivated:
The affects I get from working out keeps me motivated. The burning sensation I get from stressing my muscles to the point of failure. Nothing feels better than the pain felt during a vigorous workout. Furthermore, post workout mild soreness also confirms that my muscle are adequately stress. This keeps me motivated and encouraged to get back in the gym each day.
