While in Universty a friend introduced me to weight lifting & I loved it. After U, other things became my focus in life & exercise was unfortunately not a priority any more. Many things came together to get me back to the gym about a year ago & slowly I've been enjoying rediscovering the weights.
I started *effective* training just at the end of April ... hoping to see some good results soon!
Why I Love It:
I love being able to add more weight onto the bar - such immediate gratification!
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends who lift have been incredible motivation for me!

not a lot of noticeable change, but wearing smaller sizes :)
been dabbling in weight-lifting off and on over the last 8 months and it's time to get serious about it! I like how my strength has improved but not so much overall appearance and need to get more serious about both diet and training.
So things have been pretty much in the crapper for me lately .... it feels like it's been one thing after another but certainly the most recent stroke of fate/bad luck has been the biggest .... I got let go from my job last Tuesday. My position was declared redundant as of the meeting I...
So sorry to here about you situation at the present time - Im sure that things wil look up ! try and keep a smile on your face - when one door closes, another one opens ..

My wife looks at the scale and says I am not losing any weight although she has been eating clean and working out 5 days a week along with doing cardio BUT all her workout clothes are getting loose and her regular clothes have long been hanging on her.
Even though the scale doesn't say you have lost weight I bet that you have lost fat and replaced it with muscle gains exactly like my wife has done. You are transforming your body.
Keep up the great work.
Your progress pics look great. It's all about how your clothes fit. They are the true indicators of progress. Best of luck with all your fitness goals.
I hope that you are still motivated and hittin those weights. It might seem like the changes are never going to happen but trust me they will and when they do BAM as Emeril says they will happen almost overnight.
Continued success.
