When I Started:
Jun, 2008
How I Started:
I've always been athletic, in junior high and high school I ran track (800, 100M hurdles, 4X200) and I was in great shape. I've always been pretty small my normal weight was about 116lbs. I went to college and decided not to run in order to concentrate on my studies. I didn't gain the "Freshman 15" and was still pretty small because my roommates and I worked out together.
About 3 years ago, I decided to hire personal trainer to achieve some better results and was working out 3-5/week. However, shortly after I began my "transformation" I got a new job that required a lot of travel and my diet/workout routine went downhill. I was staying in corporate housing for months at a time in various cities and even though I tried to stay focus, the stress of being away from home made it impossible to stay on track!
For the 3 years I've been off/on with my diet. I now understand that my diet is very important to my "transformation".
I've struggled with emotional eating through the years and I am trying to take some control over my life...
Wish me luck!!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel when I leave the gym.
I heart the "gym"

I completed a 20 minute HIIT routine during my lunch break. I ran at 8.5 and up (highest 9.0) for 1 minute and cooled down for 2 minutes...repeated for 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm-up and cool down. It wasn't so bad, well, I think that's due to the fact that I use to sprint when I ran...
Hey there...just stopped by to say hello...how r things going with your training, running. I just started running and its so much harder than the elipticle!:p
I'm good girl! Just been training and back on the grind with the kids back in shcool. Everything's been good though! I hope you have a blessed and wonderful week full of clean eating and hard training!
Keep working hard. My body is stubborn too. It's been 5 months and I only lost 15 lbs. But the muscles are starting to pop through now :-) Keep your head up, I'm cheering for you!
I just looked at ur progress pics and u definitely do not look the same. I see the transformation taking place. Stay motivated and keep working at it...u will get there. Good luck :)
