30LifeCrisis Hey bro, saw your weight gainer post. From the stuff I have seen on the shelves they always seem to contain dextrose or maltodextrin. I will use both of those post workout but like to avoid them in my normal meal replacements. As they both cause huge insulin spikes. I have recently taken to grinding dry oats in a coffee grinder and mixing them into a shake. Works the same but without the spike... Super cheap, easy and effective. Dec 25, 2012 4:10pm
