When I Started:
Mar, 2004
How I Started:
I had been overweight my entire life until one day my friend, my sister and I decided we were going to join a gym and lose some weight. I had never even dieted before in my life. But after a month of great results from exercise I was hooked!
Why I Love It:
I love everything about it! I love the change that I have made to my body, I love the improvement in my confidence, energy level and overall mood. I love that by working out I discovered there was a completely different Rebecca hiding inside me.
How I Stay Motivated:
So far the results I continue to see have kept me motivated. I know if I put in the work I will see the reward. I also have a roommate that loves to workout, so we keep each other going to the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 100 lbs!!! The day I finally saw that number on the scale was awesome.
In May 2007 (after a year of studying!) I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Not really a BB accomplishment, but it is something I never would have dreamed of attempting before.
I don't want people to ever use the sentence "She is a big girl" to describe me again.
Goal (Long):
I was overweight ever since I was a little girl, and thought that I always would be. I didn't think that I ate much more than other people and no one around me ever worked out and none of them were big, so I thought it was just how I was built. But after years of slowly gaining more and more weight, I decided it was time to do something about it. I joined a gym, hired a personal trainer and went on a diet. Because I was so out of shape, all I could do for the first couple of weeks was walk on the treadmill. But even that little bit of activity made a difference and I saw results almost immediately. That was in March of 2004 and I have been working out ever since. So far I have lost 110 lbs and more inches than you can believe. I have started studying to become a personal trainer and my dream is to own my own gym so I can help people who are at the point I was four years ago, ready to make a change and become a healthier, happier person. Weight wise, my goal is to loose another 35 lbs and stay fit and toned for the rest of my life.

Right now I am more concerned with weight loss that I am with muscle gain or toning, so I try and do cardio six days a week. But I get bored easy, so my longest cardio sessions only lasts about 45 minutes. Right now, here is the schedule I am trying to keep:
M-W-F: 5 min warm up; 15 min...
THERE IS THE POINT OF NO RETURN
WHERE YOU HAVE TRAINED SO LONG < SACRIFICED SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN"T GO BACK> YOU MUST REACH YOUR GOAL GOAL & TRAMPLE ON ANY ONE WHO TRIES TO STOP YOU

hey thanks... the past couple weeks i have relaxed on the diet. I really have to get back on track.. I"m happy i inspire you.. that really motivates me more.. : ) Do you plan to compete someday??
I think most of the weightloss comes from just the diet and eating the right things and making sure you eat enough. I only do a small bit of cardio, but lift about 5 times a week. Good luck and thanks for the comment!
i just checked out your new pic and wow! you are looking awesome! that is some amazing progress! you must be proud of the progress you have made! did i mention wow!?
my blog is boring too, but i use it anyways! as far as my progress to date, i am down another 1 1/2 lbs this week, for a total of 61 1/2 lbs lost! i am now 200 1/2 lbs, go figure, i wanted to see 200 on the scale this week, but of course it had to be 200 1/2, making me wait another week to see it! i wanted to break the scale after that! stupid 1/2 lb!! i would read your blog, i got nothing better to do!
