I used to be fit when I was younger and I lifted off an on throughout highschool. Then I seriously got started when I hit about 230 lbs. and realized I was obese. It was funny but I didnt really even notice because the change was so gradual. I decided it was time to start eating better and exercising if I wanted to live past thirty.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of how it makes me feel and all of the other benefits, improved sleep, better state of mind, increased energy, and looking better. Its amazing how you can be having a bad day or just feel tired and run down and then you can go lift and you feel like a million bucks!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by using this website and by seeing the small changes in myself. I look at all the inspiring profiles on here and it makes it easy to stay on track. I want what so many others on this site have!!! I also will bet money that I can't afford to lose so that I can meet certain fitness goals when my motivation is low.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 60lbs is major accomplishment in my book thats a good size kid taken off of my body!

blaine5changed Weight from 177.6 lbs. to 176.4 lbs., a 1.2 lb. loss in 1 day
This is at 173lbs. 12.5%bodyfat! In some of these pics I am starting to get a little four pack. Lower abs are still flabby as hell and I went with the serial killer look to spice things up!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I try to do interval sprints as opposed to low intensity cardio. I think a lot of the long term low intensity cardio is counter productive to building muscle mass.
One of the biggest parts of trying to achieve a goal is motivation. Many people make the mistake of waiting for motivation, and if it never comes then you are in big trouble. Most times if you want something you have to create motivation. To reach my new goal weight of approx 158lbs. I...
Hey hey, sure thing. I'm gettin' better. I've decided to do lighter lifts with shorter rests and run on my off lift days for about a month. Conditioning and consistency. Howzit with you? What are you workin' on?
exactly, you just gotta keep with it, it's been really bad here lately, I wanna eat everything in sight but I keep telling myself I get to twist off just a bit for Thanksgiving and I gotta stay good till then, it's a good thing that my hubby insisted on going out, lol
Thanks! I am struggling now though i have been eating garbage and not working out but I start a new job this week and hopefully get in a gym real soon and start buying good food again now that I can afford it.
hey, its all good here, finally moving down again, thanks for checkin in on me, i appreciate you :^) so hows it going with you? hope all is on track n good.
Oh it's coming along! I am about half way there. I am feeling a little discouraged about my size, but I am just going to have to eat more! (which is hard for me)
I've been trying to reduce the bodyfat and man, it's just not moving fast enough!! Picked up a nutrition book and will be studying until I get the results I want! Just don't give up ;-)
