Both my parents were big into bodybuilding. On my 13th b-day, my parents bought me my first gym membership, and I haven't stopped since.
Why I Love It:
Over the years, my goals have changed from training for the up comming football, track, wrestling season, to just wanting to look good, to wanting to be stronger than the next guy, and now just to be as athletic as I possibly can. With all of that, I just love the way I feel after a hard workout. I'll never be as big as the next guy or as ripped, but I love the journey.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's hard sometimes, but I keep going for me. I want my mind and body to be able to handle anything life throws at me, and staying in the best shape I can allows me to do that.
Has anyone heard of the 5x5x5 workout? I had to abandon my goal of doing crossfit for the duration of deployment, and know going to give the 5x5x5 workout a try. If anyone has tried it, I'd like to hear the results. If you don't know what it is, ask, and I'll fill you in.
Well I'm in a sling I think until the end of DEC. But in 3 more weeks they start moving my shoulder for me .then I get to move it.as far as lifting that's going to be at lease 3 to 4 mons. Then only ligth at frist.so how things with you ?
James, school is going well and i just finished midterms. I just need to come up with a solid work schedule for school, my job and workouts. Next semester I plan to take all my classes during the weekend. Just Friday, Sat and Sunday.
James, Thanks for the friends request! Your physique looks incredible! I LOVE your avi pic! It is awesome! God bless you! Thank you for serving our country! xoxo Tamar
Things are going pretty good over here. I just got back into the swing of training after a bit of a inconsistency. Since you're back on it, how's your training been?
Oh, I've been MUCH better, but life goes on. How about you?? I haven't properly trained so the marathon may be very interesting, but thanks! And I will let you know! I like your quote there...
