When I Started:
How I Started:
Well a long story made shorter, started lifting about five years ago and something called life seemed to have gotten in the way and i fell off working out tried several times to get back up and just when the gains started to pay off i would get knocked back down. I can say that i now have a beautiful wife that is pregnant with my first child, a little girl and is very supportive of me getting back with it so to sum it all up HERE WE GO AGAIN! never give up!!!
Why I Love It:
I love being able to move around better, the feeling of accomplishment
How I Stay Motivated:
still cant figure that out but i do love the feeling of the soreness coming on and when its worn off the feeling of the new muscle and change thats left behind
I have been on agian off again with my workouts over the past few years, and now I have completed week three of starting over, but with some problems. Some how this past sunday I seem to have done something mild to my right knee and it has mess up my leg routine for the week and maybe next week...
All is well, just chugging along. Should be due for some new progress pics here in the next week or so and also getting weighed/taped this Monday. Yours?
Pretty much dont start out with a "diet" per se, just start simple by cutting about 500-700 calories out of your daily regimen. If you really think about it, just cutting out soda and that bag of chips on top of the fridge and what not equald up very fast.
D.O.M.S is the Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness...that ache you feel 24-48 hours after lifting. I was using Cell-Mass pretty religiously and it helped out...how is training coming?
