I needed something to relieve my stress from everyday life. I found that working out was just the right fix.
Why I Love It:
Its the one time out of the day where I'm doing something for myself instead of others. I figure that I can give my body at least a hour a day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation is all around us. There is always somebody bigger, stronger and in better shape then you are. The question is, are you pushing yourself to the limit.
Today's workout was a little more exciting. I am most definitely getting stronger however I'm not where I want to be yet. Next month I plan on switching things up, hopefully that will allow me to get over the hump.
That is such a good idea to rest. You should try to rest(or at least work at a low intensity) every 4-6 weeks. It is so important. Rest up and eat well! You have progressed alot at some good rest can only help you!
OMG, just great. Did a hydrostatic weighing and got a reading of 9% body fat. It's nice to be able to stop cutting and start building up! How are you doing?
Thanks for your comment the other day. I can see your great progress. I started working on my abs seriously lately and legs... see how it goes. Keep it up!
Having a little trouble leaning out, progress is slow and very subtle. Can begin to see my upper abdominals but it's mainly covered under a nice thick blanket of flab lol! But I'm working on it :-) How about you? And how was your weekend!
You have come a long way. Just keep pounding heavy as you can. I always do reps 10,8,6,15 on everything. Make sure to feel the muscle you are working. Target it with your mind. Switch it up every 3rd workout with a high rep workout. Your a big guy, Keep it up.
got an appointment to see a physical therapist to get my shoulders checked out. hopefully everything will check out and Ill b progressing again. how's training going for u?
Dude the progress is coming along pretty good. I am still in the bulking phase and while I am gaining mass it's also frustrating a little bit not seeing as much definition as you would like. I feel good though. How is your progress coming along? It looks like you have some serious definition in your chest, abs and arms. Seriously dude this website is great for motivation and you definitely help me keep motivated. Good luck with everything man!
Thanks. I got a bit overtrained, took a break. My body is very sensitive that way. I don't know how people trained hard day in and day out, w/o a break. I take a week off every 4-6 weeks. Cutting has been quite trying, though. How have things been with you!
