I saw myself on the TV news one day. Ugh, it was worse than I thought. I was nearly 360 lbs and not happy about it.
Why I Love It:
The pump and the endorphin rush is incredible! And it stays with me for hours. People don't get it when I try to explain it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the changes and feeling strong and healthy keeps me going. Nothing I've ever done before had this effect on me.
BB Accomplishments:
Ha, yeah right.. Maybe I'll take my shirt off at the beach someday. :)

This was taken seven years ago while I was out with friends. I'm the huge white guy, as usual. :) Probably weighed in at 350+ here.
After a year and a half of cardio and bodybuilding, I am starting to get a V-shape. What you can't see here in this shot is my gut, which has a long way to go. Not too bad for 320+ lbs @ 38% bf, though.
Argh, my posts about my training coaches and studios keep disintegrating. Don't know if I can restore. Gak!!
Anyway, I started getting coached at a place near my house (and nearer to the Krispy Kreme) called Fitness Together. These people are great and keep me motivated and accountable....
It has been a while since last we spoke and I hope that all is well in your life. As always I wish you much success in all you do and strength in each and every workout. Believe in yourself and enjoy the journey.
All the best to you and yours in ‘08.
