I went to a birthday party and a picture was taken of me. I have not posted it as of yet. I was completely unhappy with who I saw in that picture. I could not believe that I had let myself get to the stage I was. My employers had purchased a gym membership for me and some personal training for the entire year before, but I could tell that I really was not getting anything out of it. I had actually put on an additional 25 lbs , and my personal trainer was not happy with me, due to the fact that I would not change my diet.
Well after seeing a picture of myself, I finally wanted to make the changes for me, no one else. I hit the gym hard and hit my menu hard.
Now that I was making the changes for the right reasons the lbs seemed to just fall off at an amazing rapid pace. I lost 25 lbs in a month and a half. Simply increasing my cardio, and decreasing the useless calories going in.
In June I hit my two first goals which was to go from 225 and lose 40 lbs. I weighed in at 169 a grand total of 57 lbs. I also took my 29% bf to 13.5 %.
My biggest thing for people to know. The last 10 lbs may seem to be the hardest to loss, but when you do, they are the most rewarding of all.
Why I Love It:
The total impact it has had on my life, confidence, physical and mental health.
I have never felt so alive.
How I Stay Motivated:
Simply the amazing gratification of results and seeing the fruits of my efforts. It is one thing in life that you can control. I believe that everyone has it in them to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Its a matter of patients and time.

Just checked your profile: great honesty and awesome job with the body transformation. Seems like you are really rolling. Are you real strict with your diet or were you able to just cut empty calories and carbs to get there?
