I was always a skinny person, I wanted to feel better about myself.
Why I Love It:
Seeing the changes to my body are a real motivator. I love challenges, and making goals and beating them. Plus the pumps and burning muscles feel great!

this is what I looked like 5 months ago. I was 6 lbs heavier than this prior to my illness.
This is about 9 weeks after I started to get better from a bad case of ulcerative colitis. Im back up to about 167 lbs. A little extra fat, but Ill lose that by summer for sure.
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
several light shoulder strains, torn lower trap, lower back problems... Most recovered within a few weeks by taking a week off or going a little lighter for a week or two.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
letting their ego get in the way, or not warming up
So if you have read my previous blog, you know that I have been having an extremely hard time with a case of ulcerative colitis. This last week I have finnally been feeling better, been able to keep food in me for a reasonable time, and things are slowly getting back to normal, I hope things...

I can certainly appreciate what you went through with ulcerative colitis - I also have a digestive disorder. Your blog indicates that your case may have been temporary so I hope that it hasn't flared up on you in the past year. Your progress is great. A good solid, well built physique. Keep up the great work and good luck reaching your goals.
Hey Ross, how is everyone doing? Have you managed you get back into your workout routine? Give me and update when you have chance. I'm still training hard and trying to eat well....just some weeks are better than other. Hope the wife and the little one and Dad is doing well.
