Background

When I Started: Feb 2012
HOW I STARTED:

I've always been a weightlifter. From middle school to now! I was always determined to lift more than the other girls and naturally, I did! To this day I still have such a passion for weightliftig. I was training for my first show when I my fiance and I found out we were expecting our first child! I stopped working out completely and turned to sugar and fatty foods! I gained 66 pounds during my pregnancy!! After my c-section wait time of 8 weeks I was up for the challenge to lose that weight! From March to july I lost 60 pounds and got a six pack! I never ever in my life saw my abs the way I did after losing that baby weight! I was deadlifting 225 pounds and I just never felt better! October of 2011 (that same year) My fiance and I decided to move our little family to our home state 3 hours away. Although I was excited for the move I became very depressed being away from my identical twin sister. I was having trouble finding a job, finding a gym let alone affording a gym, couldn't afford tanning or a hair appointment like I was used to. I turned to food for comfort. From november of 2011 January 2012 I gained 10 pounds! To some people thats not a lot but on my small frame it is! My muscles got soft and my abs definately disappeared. Now that I found my dream job working in the nutrition/health industry I am determined to get my old self back! I don't want to look at pictures of my six pack from six months ago and cry, I want to look in the mirror and smile at my new six pack that will be here in 12 weeks! I am now back on training mode! Protein, supplements, gym membership, and determination is all here! I am so ready to get my body back and weight training again!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the sport of bodybuilding. It is truly an amazing art. As a weight lifter, I feel I am the artist and my body is my masterpiece. Every rep, set, and breath I take goes to perfecting my masterpiece. As Monica Brant says, Muscles are sexy! I love the way weight training makes me feel. It is a natural therapy session. Nothing makes me feel as great as I do when I work out.

MY WORKOUT SCHEDULE

MONDAY : chest, triceps, abs, cardio!

TUESDAY : back, biceps, cardio!

WEDNESDAY : legs, shoulders, abs, cardio!

THURSDAY : chest, triceps, cardio!

FRIDAY : back, biceps, abs, cardio!

SATURDAY : legs, shoulders, cardio!

 

MY FAVORITE CARDIO SESSION IS WALKING ON THE HIGHEST INCLINE ON THE TREADMILL AT A SPEED OF 4.0 FOR 15 MINUTES. IT REALLY MAKES ME SWEAT AND MAKES ME FEEL GREAT!

MEAL ONE-1/2 CUP OATS WITH SWEET N LOW AND SUGAR FREE JELLY, 4 EGG WHITES.

MEAL TWO-SYNTRAX NECTAR WHEY PROTEIN WITH WATER.

MEAL THREE-1/2 CUP BROWN RICE, 1 TABLESPOON SALSA WITH TILAPIA.

MEAL FOUR-SYNTRAX NECTAR WHEY PROTEIN WITH WATER.

MEAL FIVE- 1/2 CUP BROWN RICE, 1 TABLESPOON SALSA WITH TILAPIA   OR   1 CUP BABY SPINACH WITH CHICKEN AND BALSAMIC SPRAY CALORIE COUNTER WITH AN APPLE ON THE SIDE.

MEAL SIX- SYNTRAX NECTAR WHEY PROTEIN WITH WATER.

MEAL SEVEN- CHICKEN, TILAPIA, OR TURKEY FILETS WITH 1/2 CUP GREEN VEGGIES.

 

THESE 7 SMALL MEALS WORK PERFECT FOR MY BUSY, LONG DAYS. I AM NON STOP FROM 5AM UNTIL 10PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS I MAY SWITCH UP THE DINNER MEAL FROM SOME WHOLE GRAIN LOW FAT PASTA BUT FOR THE MOST PART I AM VERY CONSISTENT WITH THIS DIET. LOTS OF WATER!!!!

Holy crap this time went by fast!! Week 10 is almost over! I am holding a lot of water weight right now so I am looking very puffy, other than that I am pretty happy with my results so far! I definately put on some muscles! I have upped my weight on all my work outs this week. I have definately been sweating more. I've also been working out in a hoodie to shed some of this water weight!

Week 10!!!

I started week 9 this week! I also started the Paleo Diet. I think it is very interesting to eat like the cavemen had to. It really makes you think how processed foods has pretty much changed America! I live in Mississippi which has the highest statistics of Obesity. I see it alone in my family how they eat and it is really sad. I try to influence them to eat better but some people are just set in their ways, especially my stubborn family! :) They think its crazy the way I am eating (the paleo diet) and I try to explain to them the cavemen lived this way! BSN Hyper Shred Fat Burner

I have no been taking the BSN Hyper Shred fat burner for a week now. I LOVE IT! I take it in the morning 30 minutes before my first meal. It puts me in the best mood!!! THIS STUFF IS NO JOKE! It makes me feel so happy and just ready to tackle the day! I am currently taking one capsule per day. I tried 2 one day and it made me feel yucky so I still need to build my tolerance up for it. I can't wait to weigh my self this weekend and see if it helps drop the pounds too!

ahinton36 on the water weight question: eat less sodium. also any foods you cook with water- rice/oats,you'd be surprised how much water you bring in eating. before i take final pictures i drink hardly any water for 2 straight days, its tough but it brings out the veins and extra muscle because you are partially dehydrated, and congrats on finishing the transformation! mdluman Good! I'm glad I could be of some help. What brand are you planning on using? i use the bulk powder from Primaforce mostly because it's cheaper and I don't care if it taste bad. Primaforce also makes capsules. If your going to do capsules USP labs Super Cissus RX is probably the best! Do you take any Glucosamine, MSM and Condroitin? Apr 19, 2012 11:05am
