Basically I realized that I was in the worst shape of my life. I stressed too much and ate very unhealthy. As a result of my unhealthyness I started getting heart palpatations wich scared the heck out of me. I thought too myself that I needed to be healthier, not just for me, but for my wife and kids as well.
My Cousin got me into the gym one morning and been addicted ever since
Why I Love It:
Stress release and me-time. Also knowing that my body is getting stronger and healthier.
How I Stay Motivated:
Goal setting. Knowing that I'm going to lift the next weight up from what I'm currently doing. I push myself to get to the next level. But the biggest motivator is seeing change and the progress that I have made.

Goal (Long):
My goal for comming to bodyspace is to keep me motivated to hit the gym and work on my health. I want to be fit and look fit as well. I want to gain confidence and be healthy and active as my kids grow.
So I've been working on a High Protien/ moderate Carb/ low fat diet. I'm still trying to get plenty of calories, so I'm eating a lot. Since I work swing shift at the lumber mill, its been hard to get into the gym more than 2 times a week. But, with my diet and gym stipulations I've still been...

Veganism has been on my mind for the past 2 months. Its tougher to eat vegan and still eat clean while living in dorms so during break I experimented with foods I liked and brought tons back2 school. I do it for ethical reasons. I am fortunate to live in a small town where I know the farmer and see the animals I will be eating. They're humanely raised, graze the land + are slaughtered as nicely as can be expected. I allow animal products in my diet from that farm in my town.

well that is very important, you have to eat the right amount of carbs and protein for your weight and you have to eat every 3 hours at least 6 meals per day.

Diet is at least 60% when you are persuing your 6 packs, eat clean an do a little cardio after your workout.

thanks for the suggestions, I will try some goat's milk and see how I feel. Now that you mention it, I have been feeling really "blah" lately since taking all this dairy and whey. It will be nice to feel like myself again! have a great day!
