How I Started:
I've workout out off and on for years- mainly off. I've gone through many things and I have not felt confident. So, I've made a decision to get strong, healthy, and slim so I can have a killer body which will provide me with more confidence. When I look good on the outside I feel confident and good on the inside.
Why I Love It:
Working out isn't my favorite thing to do. I think I'll enjoy it more as I began to see better result. I do like it more than staying weak, fat and not confident.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing the progress of others on this website. I also stay motivated by the small changes I see in myself. I also stay motivated by the thought that my goal day I have set is coming and I can either choose to gain more weight, stay the same or improve and feel awesome on that day.

Goal (Long):
I want a flat hard stomach so I can get a belly button ring.
I want to have defined calf, leg, and arm muscles.
I want to have a cut muscle above my knee
I want to get rid of the fat creases in my back
I want to get rid of the fat on my body
I want to be slim but also strong.
I want to be able to bench press my body weight
I want to be able to do 5 pull ups
I want to be able to do 50 push ups
I want to get firm legs so you can't see any cellulite
I want to see a 6 pack on my abs
I want to get a belly ring
I took my measurements and finally I lost some inches on my legs. I wasn't sure if my legs would ever start to get smaller. My arms seem to be still sucking the fact.
I've been doing good on my diet. I'm a little concerned that I may not be eating enough. I'm eating 4 to 5 times a day, but...
As the weeks progressed my macro ratios changed and so did some of my food items but for the most part what's above was the core. Let me know if you need anything else.
hey bikini0809. Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I ate super clean. I will give you a brief example: bkfast- 1/2 c oatmeal, 1 Tbs chopped walnuts and 6 egg whites. mid-morn- 1 lowfat cottage cheese double w/ 1tbs almonds. lunch-4-5 oz meat such as chicken or fish with 1/4 c brown rice or 2 oz sweet potato. midnoon- 1/2 scoop whey, 4 oz yogurt 3 gms fish oil. dinner- 4-5 oz meat and same as lunch or 2/3 c mixed veggies and last meal- 1 1/2 scoops whey made in water with 1 tbs flax oil.
LOL! thanks... the elliptical has been my best friend for at least 5 months now. My resistance level started at 3/25. It's an everyday thing, if I did ANYONE can do it! Good luck!

The mind body duality is an old problem in western philosophy as to if the mind is actually separate and distinct from the body. Those who think there is a complete separation of the two often posit the Mind as superior while the Body is a lower order "idea" - overcoming the two (much as in Eastern philosophy) allows one to realize that mind and body are one thing.
