I want to stop listening to the defeatist within my own head that says I'm too tired to do it, or that there's no time, or I don't REALLY know how to get in very good shape. I want to be active, if possibly for the first time in my life. I'm tired of being tired, I'm tired of not looking in the mirror and really liking what I see. I don't know how exactly I'm going to reach my goal, I just know that I'm going to freaking try...and move forward with it.

I can't tell you the state of mind I'm in right now. I've cheated myself out of a better me for so long and I want myself to pay the price for it. The only thing you can trust in life is yourself, and sometimes even that falters. So...God give me the strength to be strong, on the inside and...
being too tired to train.....I battle that daily. I am starting to determine the "fatigue" feeling is due too many toxins floating around in the body. Also, if your mental state reinforces "I am tired", it adds to it. Looking into methods to detox the body and work on clearing the mind. I am doing some meditation for this & it is really starting to help me feel a bit more energized.
ty, my training & bckground was trad. Amer. Boxing, livin in Atlanta I later switched over to Muay Thai as most our fighter's/instructors around seem to focus on that style and I wanted to do some diff. leg wk. I retired do to hip issues and now I focus on stretching/yoga but I still incorp. some of the training philo. from fighting.
