I got back into the swing by using a two body part per day, 4 day split. Now I am doing an 18 week program incorperating different ramps of reps and rest times.
Why I Love It:
It feels great and makes me feel better about myself. I constantly have more energy and the endorphins seem to make me more on my game.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by thinking about my size when I originally started up.
BB Accomplishments:
My biggest accomplishments were 12 years ago when I first joined the Army with a six pack. I used to run the Two Mile in 12 min 45 sec weighing only 145 lbs. Also in 2007 when I raised my body weight to 185.

What bigswell79 Is Up To:
Jan 7, 2010
bigswell79is inspired by LovelySteph. Reason: "She has made incredible gains/losses. I absolutely love her blogs and her sense of humor and she has become a good friend of mine. Thanks ... "
Tone up what I have gained while deployed and strengthen my core
Goal (Long):
I want a six pack, bigger calves, my shirt sleeves to be tight around my arms and a tan. The tan might be the only difficult goal to acheive being that I am currently in Afghanistan and laying out is not possible on a military base.
3 sets no break switching from one excersise to the other - standing barbell curl(10 reps), standing dumbell hammer curl(10 reps) and standing ez-curl bar reverse curl(10 reps).
Kneeling barbell half curl(hold at the halfway point and bring it down for a slow negative) Cheater Curl for reps

Well, after your last, what, year...you deserve a party or three. Just make sure you put in your gym time no matter what. Should you need extra motivation, I can help. Now where did I put that cattle prod?? Lol! Just a little morning humor for you!
yeah but I will be missing the most important people in my life... my family. I mean I help out a **** load in my family. I mean what my mom can't get too I do it. I keep things in check and I know when I leave its going down the drain.. im afraid for them.
Tick..tock..tick. Not too much time left on the clock over there! Bet you'll be amazed how much faster you make gains once you have different food choices available. I didn't want to believe it because I was unwilling to really take diet into account (for years..yes, I'm stubborn). Once I wrapped my head around the concept and made changes. POOF! It was like magic....Who woulda thunk it?? Lol! Happy to be your friend!
GOSH Mom has to tell you like everything!! LOL I'm going to do my basic IN August. I am going to be training to be an Officer but I want to be a lawyer for the Navy which is a JAG Officer. I am nervous but very excited.
So sorry that you can't drink! I am not allowing myself to because I would like to achieve my (perfect body) lol. before I get crazy. I would like to train as much and hard right now while I have the motivation and a partner. My daughter is going into the NAVY!
Hey...you're almost home. Good. That's a nice way to start the new year. I imagine it's much easier to hit those training goals when you're here. Wishing you the best in 2010!
2009 was good to me. I started my MMA training in earnest and I'm a built, tough, durable power in record time. Hope 2010 give you 3 amazing surprises of the good variety, and leaves you standing tall as you deserve. be safe man!
