bigswallace15 What is everyone doing, taking, and drinking to be all happy and fit? I need a dose! Ive been down for years and im 22 lol

  • So I commented on this yesterday but seems it didn't post so let me try again.

    To answer your questions... I go to the gym. It wears me out yet totally pumps me up too. On top of that I spend time with family and friends doing things that make me happy. As for taking.... I take vitamins. There is no happy pill. Staying as positive as I can... That keeps me happy. And smile. Even when it hurts. Because everything has it's course and comes to an end. Trust me... I've had my share of bad luck

    As for drinking.... My fave is water: pre workout sometimes. Coffee if I'm really dragging and milk/soy milk/almond milk.

    As you can see there is no magic solution or secret other than finding what makes you happiest and doing that. 22 was a tough age for me. Out of college and no clue what to do. Just be positive and work for those goals. Our bodies listen to our brains so tell it you can and you will and it will listen.

ElliotClarke Not much man, just in my exam period at the moment though so my training has ground to a halt :( My exams finish in two weeks though and then I'm free for 3 months to just eat, train and sleep! Can't wait to get back into it and really up the ante! What about you? Jun 10, 2013 5:15am

B-Ballin Booker Following a pretty strict meal/supplement regimen. Breakfast=1/2 cup oatmeal, 6 liquid egg whites, 4oz almond milk, 2 scoops protein. meals 2,3,4 6-8 oz chicken breast, ground turkey, salmon or tilapia with 6-8 brown rice, red potatoes, or yams. Meal 5= post-workout shake, Meal 6 lean steak and 15-20 almonds. Supps- Armor V, Battle Fuel XT, Fish Oil, Amino 1, Assault, Combat Powder, MP Creatine Working out 2-3 times per day! Good luck man! CTnicktellis I don't do a lot of cardio. I usually do some variation of plyometrics every time I go to the gym as a warm up...15 mins max. Occasionally I will do HIIT cardio 1:1 ratio of sprints/ jogs but even then I will only do 15 mins max. As far as protein I take whey (protogen) & sometimes a beef protein. Apr 17, 2013 10:28am

CTnicktellis I don't do anything special. As far as diet I keep it simple protein shakes, grilled chicken, fish, pasta, potatoes, lots of fruits and veggies, and lots of eggs. I drink a lot of water, at least a gallon a day if not more. Workout wise I've just been mixing up my routine, heavy weights high reps, lighter weights with high reps, super sets, drop sets, just a little of everything. Cardio wise I jump rope mostly along with box jumps & lat hops. Apr 16, 2013 5:53pm

guest Hey, yea I take animal pack flex, it helps a lot. My knee do bother me but I teach group fitness at my gym and the floor is concrete and jumping on it and it kills my knees! Apr 3, 2013 5:10pm

nathan5 My diet is simple. Try not to eat TOO clean. For example: Chicken (breast, thighs, and liver) Steak Fish (tilapia and salmon) Turkey (grounded and regular) Big Mac (but that's once every other month) Oh and one last thing...... audreyperez29 Naaah. No joint supps. Ever since I stopped doing sports and changed my stance on squat, my knees have been feeling WAY better. I do take whey and casein though. That's it. audreyperez29 Haha. Thanks so much. I like to consider myself a beautiful beast, so thank you :) My knees are pretty good. I f'd them up in volleyball and basketball from throwing myself on the floor so much. I was young and didn't know any better. Now I am feeling it. That's why, if you haven't noticed, I squat and deadlift very wide with my toes pointed outwards. I find it puts a lot less strain on my knees. (Granted it's ONLY my left knee at that).
