When I Started:
Jan, 1996
How I Started:
Started lifting for sports in junior high and progressed through training while playing Division III football at Monmouth College. After that I competed in powerlifting shows for 2 years and then began competing as a bodybuilder in 2001.
Why I Love It:
GOD has blessed me with the ability to use lifting as a tool to improve my body and also to serve as an outlet to release stress. I love lifting and bodybuilding. Trying to figure out the right nutrition to get my body into the best shape possible. Also, I love to help others train, because so many have helped me along the way. I want to pay it back to others.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation is not a concern. I look forward to working out, there is just something about being at the gym, especially at 5 am!
BB Accomplishments:
2001 Mr. Natural Illinois (NANBF Novice Division 1st Place)
2001 Mr. Natural Illinois (Collegiate 1st Place)
2002 Midwest Show (3rd Place Open)
2002 Midwest Show ( 1st place mixed couples)
