I moved to China in August and turned 40 the very next month. I'm almost at my heaviest ever. Between battling culture shock and seeking health benefits, going back to the gym is the only way to find that balance I crave.
Why I Love It:
Working out and eating right makes me feel good about myself. It instills confidence, drive, ambition, and prolongs my life by alleviating the pains of obesity.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife, I want to grow old with her. My personal philosophy, reading and MUSIC!
BB Accomplishments:
I was able to get my "training wheels" last year. I became a registered member of bodybuilding.com and fitday.com, these tools have made a monumental change in the way train and eat.
Forum Signature:
It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! -Rocky Balboa 2006
