When I Started:
Jan, 2002
How I Started:
I used to play baseball and to stay in shape I worked at a gym that gave me a free membership. During the end of my senior year of high school I through out my arm and had to have Tommy John surgery. The surgery didn't work, I could no longer play ball, but I never stopped working out.
Why I Love It:
There are so many reasons why I love working out, but above all I love how it is a continuous process. There are so many ways to improve and if you are a goal setter, this is definitely the obsession for you. I love how you feel as if you are a part of something special. I love seeing the same people at the gym and comparing everyone’s different goals and accomplishments. I love how it never ends and is something you can do forever. You can have a terrible day at work, school, the shop or where ever, your life can be a mess at times, but the gym is always there for you. For those two hours everything is different and can be a great escape.
How I Stay Motivated:
The main thing or force that motivates me would have to be my workout partner. They are very hard to find, but if you find the right workout partner, you are golden. Having a partner is a great way to keep you on time, push yourself when you don't think you can go further, forces you to show up so you don't let that person down, and will always tell you if your form sucks! The second biggest motivator I think would have to be a good mp3 player with a kick ass playlist. It’s no secret that the hardcore gym no longer exists, and if it does please show me the way. A great way to utilize the nice equipment at a not so intense place and still get a great workout in is by using your mp3 player to create your own little world. It can really push you through those intense workouts. The third and undeniable way I stay motivated and I think everyone will agree with me, even if they don't admit it, is the complements. When you become obsessed with always trying to improve the way you look it can be easy to slip into a long period of negativity and always being in a state where you are never satisfied. We all for the most part accept that this is the way is will always be but those unexpected complements can really re-energize you. You all know how awesome it feels when hear em'.
BB Accomplishments:
Alsmost to the point now where I can begin fine tuning. Hopefully I am only 5-6 months from filling in my weak points to where I can start dieting for my first show!

Spend next 5-6 months on sharpenning my eating schedule and eliminating major weak points
Goal (Long):
Eliminated major weak points December – January and then head into a 4 month diet in May of 08’ and cause some major damage in what will be my first time ever competing!
I'm doing this workout because I'm at a stage where I am trying to continue to build mass but lose the water I'm retaining. I am going to stick with this workout for the next 6-8 weeks and then change it up to more of a pure bulking workout.
